Tasha Boileau, MSW, LCSW
Therapist & Trauma Team Director
Tasha Boileau is a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) providing mental health services to school- aged Children (5 to 12), Adolescents, and Adults. She is an Independent Contractor, not an employee, thus she is individually responsible for all apsect of her client's care. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. She contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing, and office space.
Tasha received her Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2011. Tasha then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2013 and becamed a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina. She has received her training in Level II EMDR by EMDRIA and has completed the prestigious North Carolina Child Treatment Program for Certification and Rostering in TF-CBT which is one of the only few programs recognized by the DHHS.
Tasha is currently working as a therapist with MACS and also is the Trauma Program Director. She is tasked with development and supervision of our Trauma Services.
With Adults, Tasha provides Individual therapy, TF-CBT, DBT and EMDR. She has experience with Adults who have issues of Depression, Adjustment, Anxiety, Childhood Trauma, Personality Issues, Communication and Grief.
With Children, Tasha addreses issues of abuse, trauma, behavioral disorders such as ADHD and adjustment issues to grief & divorce. She uses Evidence Based Practices such as Trauma Focused CBT, DBT as well as EMDR. Tasha is also skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy and CBT therapy for children. She incorporates parents in the children's treatment as appropriate.
Tasha also provides therapy for Adolescents. She has experience working with a broad range of presenting problems such as but not limited to; Attention- Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Abuse Reactions, Divorce, Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), behavioral problems, and much more. Her style is very calming, comforting and relaxing.
Tasha has been working in the mental health field for about 10 years. She has worked as an outpatient therapist, in residential homes,child development programs, and has provided In- Home services in addition to working in Private Practice In her free time, Tasha can be found volunteering at her church, visiting vineyards, watching movies, or spending time with her nieces and nephew.
