"I view human beings as holistic entities that strive for balance and growth. However, most of us encounter obstacles to our growth, including traumatic events, hurtful relationships, and confusion about the meaning of our lives. These experiences will often lead to psychological wounds that distort feelings, thinking, and behavior. My understanding of counseling is that much positive change can occur through an authentic human relationship, especially one that focuses on examining and resolving those emotions which disturb our best functioning. If we can understand and fully experience our emotions in a safe environment, we are more likely to live more fulfilling lives."
Dr. Kristina accepts Aetna, BCBS, CBHA, Medcost, Magellan, UHC, Self Pay and Out of Network
